150mg Snus: What 150MG Nicotine Pouches Really Mean in 2026

Updated 15 October 2026

Short answer: no nicotine pouch on the UK market contains 150mg of nicotine per pouch. When you see 150MG on a can today, it usually means one of two things: a nicotine concentration of 150mg per gram of pouch material, as on CUBA NINJA, or 150mg of caffeine, as on ICEBERG ENERGY pouches, which contain no nicotine at all.

150mg snus is one of the most searched strength terms in the UK, and the labels can be confusing. This guide explains what the number really means, where 150MG pouches came from, and which are the strongest pouches you can buy today.

What does 150MG mean on a pouch can?

Nicotine pouch strength is shown in two different ways, and brands do not always say which one they are using.

Because a pouch weighs less than a gram, the mg per pouch figure is always lower than the mg/g figure on the same product. At Pouchline we show both where we can, for example 10.4MG (16MG/G), so you can compare brands fairly. Our nicotine pouch strength guide explains how to convert between them. Our guide to what a nicotine pouch is covers the basics.

Where did 150MG pouches come from?

Ultra high strength pouches grew out of Eastern Europe and Russia, where brands such as ICEBERG, KURWA and Supreme competed on ever bigger numbers. With few rules on how strength had to be shown, some cans carried figures like 150MG that described concentration or simply grabbed attention, rather than the nicotine in each pouch.

Strong menthol and cooling agents added to the effect. A pouch with a powerful freezing sensation can feel much stronger than its nicotine content suggests.

Which 150MG pouches can you buy today?

• CUBA NINJA 150MG: a limited edition range at 150mg/g, in flavours including Mint Fresh, Ice Cool, Strawberry and Pina Colada. This is the highest nicotine concentration we stock and is for highly experienced users only.
• ICEBERG ENERGY 150MG: 150mg of caffeine per pouch and no nicotine. These are energy pouches, not nicotine pouches.

See them all in our 150mg snus collection.

What is the strongest nicotine pouch per pouch?

If you want the most nicotine in each pouch rather than the biggest number on the can, these are among the strongest we stock in 2026:

• MAGGIE Original: 45mg per pouch (60mg/g), in flavours such as Cherry Tonic Wine and Jamaican Kola
• CUBA BLACK: 43mg per pouch, in more than 15 flavours
• ICEBERG Extreme: 40mg per pouch (50mg/g)
• PABLO Exclusive: 30mg per pouch (50mg/g)

For comparison, most mainstream pouches such as VELO and ZYN sit between 3mg and 17mg per pouch. Anything above 20mg per pouch is for experienced users only. Browse the full range of extra strong nicotine pouches.

Are there limits on nicotine pouch strength in the UK?

Not yet. There is currently no legal cap on nicotine per pouch in the UK. The Tobacco and Vapes Act 2026 gives the government powers to set strength, flavour and packaging rules after a public consultation, so this may change. From 29 October 2026 it is illegal to sell nicotine pouches to anyone under 18. Read more in our guide to snus in the UK.
