What Are HELWIT Nicotine Pouches?

HELWIT nicotine pouches are tobacco free, white slim pouches made in Sweden by YOIK AB, in its own hydro powered factory at Gransholm near Växjö in Småland. HELWIT is a flavour led brand: fruit, mint, cola, mocha, salty liquorice and more unusual picks such as Violet and Raspberry Liquorice, mostly at lighter strengths.

On this page the range is split by HELWIT's own strength rating, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4 and Extra Strong, plus Bundles, so you can choose a strength first and then a flavour.

HELWIT Strengths at a Glance

HELWIT rates its cans in dots out of four, and prints both figures on every can:

• 2/4: 3.5mg per pouch (7mg/g). Our Light category.
• 3/4: 4.5mg per pouch (9mg/g). Light.
• 4/4: 6mg per pouch (12mg/g). Our Regular category.
• Extra Strong: 7.5mg per pouch (15mg/g), shown without dots. Our Strong category and the strongest HELWIT.

Every HELWIT pouch weighs about 0.5g and every can holds 20, so the mg per pouch is always half the mg/g. Our nicotine pouch strength guide explains the two figures.

What Flavours Do HELWIT Pouches Come In?

• Fruit: Raspberry Liquorice, Watermelon, Banana, Blueberry, Cherry, Strawberry, Orange (with a splash of mint) and Acai, a HELWIT Limited Edition of dark berries.
• Mint: Mint 2/4, a sweet, gentle peppermint, and Peppermint 4/4, its ice cold bigger brother (previously sold as HELWIT Menthol).
• Drinks: Cola and Mocha (chocolate, coffee and caramel). No caffeine is listed in either.
• Something different: Violet, a sweet floral flavour, and Salmiak, a salty liquorice that HELWIT sells as Liquorice in Sweden.

Cola, Mocha, Banana and Blueberry also come as Extra Strong. HELWIT Wintermint, a wintergreen mint, has been discontinued.

How Do You Use HELWIT Pouches?

Place one pouch under your upper lip and take it out whenever you like. Don't chew or swallow it, and bin the used pouch.

Is HELWIT Snus?

Lots of people search for "HELWIT snus", but HELWIT makes tobacco free nicotine pouches. Traditional snus contains tobacco; HELWIT does not. For the UK rules, read our guide to snus in the UK.

Are There Side Effects?

HELWIT pouches contain nicotine, which is addictive, and unwanted effects can happen. ASH lists nausea, vomiting, headaches and dizziness among reported effects, especially for people who are not used to nicotine. If you are new to pouches, start with a 2/4 can. Take a pouch out if it irritates your gum.
