What Are LOOP Nicotine Pouches?
LOOP nicotine pouches are tobacco free, white pouches made in Sweden by Another Snus Factory, a Stockholm company that launched LOOP in 2019. LOOP is best known for its chilli flavours, such as Jalapeño Lime, Red Chili Melon and Hot Peach, alongside mints, icy fruits and a creamy cappuccino. LOOP says all its pouches are vegan.
On this page the range is split into Strong, Extra Strong, Hyper Strong, Mini and Bundles, so you can pick a strength and then a flavour.
LOOP Strengths at a Glance
- Medium: 5.9mg per pouch (9.5mg/g), slim. Our Regular category.
- Strong: 8.9mg per pouch (15mg/g), slim. Our Strong category and the biggest part of the range.
- Extra Strong: 11.8mg per pouch (20mg/g), slim. Our Extra Strong category.
- Hyper Strong: 14.8mg per pouch (25mg/g), slim, plus Smooth Mint Mega at 14.3mg. Our Ultra Strong category and the strongest LOOP.
- Mini: 6.3mg per pouch (15mg/g), Mini Hyper 10.5mg (25mg/g) and Smooth Mint Mini Xtended 7.1mg (15mg/g), in smaller pouches.
Slim cans hold 20 pouches of about 0.63g, Mini cans 20 pouches of about 0.45g, Mini Xtended 18 and Mega 15.
Why Did LOOP's Numbers Change?
You may have seen LOOP cans listed as 9.4mg, 12.5mg or 15.6mg. Those older figures multiplied the mg/g by the weight of the whole pouch. LOOP now prints the nicotine actually in each pouch: 8.9mg, 11.8mg and 14.8mg. The pouches are the same strengths; only the way they are counted changed. Our nicotine pouch strength guide explains mg per pouch and mg/g.
What Flavours Do LOOP Pouches Come In?
- Chilli: Jalapeño Lime (green chilli and lime), Red Chili Melon, Hot Peach, Hot Mango, Spicy Apple, Hot Rhubarb and Habanero Mint, all with a warming kick.
- Mint: Smooth Mint, Fresh Peppermint (previously Crispy Peppermint), Fresh Spearmint and Ice Cool Mint.
- Fruit and ice: Strawberry Ice, Blueberry Ice and Pineapple Ice with peppermint freshness, plus Blackcurrant and Wild Cherry.
- Something different: Creamy Cappuccino (coffee and hazelnut, no caffeine listed) and Licorice Fusion (salty liquorice with a hint of raspberry).
How Do You Use LOOP Nicotine Pouches?
Place one pouch under your upper lip and take it out whenever you like. Don't chew or swallow it, and bin the used pouch. With Hyper Strong, Mini Hyper and Mega, keep your first session short.
Is LOOP Snus?
Lots of people search for "LOOP snus", but LOOP makes tobacco free nicotine pouches. Traditional snus contains tobacco; LOOP does not. For the UK rules, read our guide to snus in the UK.
Are There Side Effects?
LOOP pouches contain nicotine, which is addictive, and unwanted effects can happen. ASH lists nausea, vomiting, headaches and dizziness among reported effects, especially for people who are not used to nicotine. If you are new to pouches, start with Medium or Mini. The chilli flavours can also feel warm on the gum; take a pouch out if it irritates your mouth.
Why Buy LOOP from Pouchline?
Pouchline stocks LOOP from 5.9mg to 14.8mg per pouch in slim, Mini, Mini Xtended and Mega formats, with the nicotine per pouch and mg/g in every title. Mix and match LOOP cans for our multibuy prices, or try three Hyper Strong flavours at once with the LOOP Top 3 Bundle.
FAQs
Is LOOP snus?
No. LOOP makes tobacco free nicotine pouches. Traditional Swedish snus contains tobacco; LOOP pouches contain nicotine but no tobacco leaf. Both sit under the lip, which is why people call LOOP snus.
What do LOOP's strength names mean?
LOOP uses its own scale: Medium 5.9mg per pouch, Strong 8.9mg, Extra Strong 11.8mg and Hyper Strong 14.8mg in slim pouches, plus Mini 6.3mg and Mini Hyper 10.5mg in smaller pouches. Our titles also show the mg/g.
Do LOOP's chilli flavours actually feel spicy?
They have a warming kick rather than real heat. Jalapeño Lime, Red Chili Melon, Hot Peach, Hot Mango, Spicy Apple, Hot Rhubarb and Habanero Mint pair fruit or mint with a chilli note you can feel on the gum.
What is the difference between LOOP Mini, Mini Xtended and Mega?
Mini pouches are small, about 0.45g, 20 per can. Mini Xtended (Smooth Mint) is a slightly larger Mini pouch of about 0.5g at 7.1mg, 18 per can. Mega (Smooth Mint) is a large pouch of about 1g at 14.3mg, 15 per can.
Does LOOP Creamy Cappuccino contain caffeine?
No caffeine is listed. Creamy Cappuccino is a coffee and hazelnut flavoured nicotine pouch, not a caffeine pouch. If you want caffeine, see our caffeine pouches.
Are LOOP nicotine pouches vegan?
Yes. LOOP says all of its pouches are 100% vegan, as well as 100% tobacco free.
Who makes LOOP nicotine pouches?
LOOP is made in Sweden by Another Snus Factory, a Stockholm company that launched the brand in 2019.
Why do some shops list LOOP as 9.4mg or 15.6mg?
Those are older figures that multiplied the mg/g by the full pouch weight. LOOP now prints the nicotine actually in each pouch, so 9.4mg is now 8.9mg, 12.5mg is 11.8mg and 15.6mg is 14.8mg. The pouches themselves are the same strengths.
